A place for coffee, conversation and connection
Sitting at the heart of the Haven Centre, the Haven Café represents what our organisation is all about: inclusion, dignity and belonging for children and young people with multiple and complex needs, and for the families, carers and community around them.
When we’re open
We’re here everyday from 9.30am to 3pm.
Breakfast is served until 11:45am, followed by lunch from 12pm to 2pm. Cakes and traybakes available all day.
Please note, during the winter months, when unpredictable Highland weather keeps us all on our toes, we operate on reduced days, opening Tuesday to Friday.
Make sure to check The Haven Café Facebook page for any further updates and events happening this month.

Free parking is available on site, including accessible spaces close to the entrance.
More than a café
For many people, the café is their first introduction to the Haven Centre. It’s a place where conversations happen, connections are made, and people begin to feel part of something welcoming.
Every coffee or cake bought helps support the wider work of the Centre, contributing to inclusive spaces and opportunities across the site. For families staying in our Haven Suites, the café is also right on site, offering a simple, familiar place to take a breather during their stay.
Volunteering in the café
Volunteers are at the heart of our café.
Their support allows us to open everyday from 9:30am to 3:00pm, and help create the warm, friendly atmosphere people often appreciate when they visit us.
Volunteering in the café offers meaningful opportunities, including supported volunteering for people with neurodivergent needs. Volunteers help with day-to-day café tasks, learn new skills, and play an important role in making the space feel welcoming.
For us, many people begin their volunteering journey here, but as the Centre continues to grow, we hope to see more opportunities for our local community to get involved in events, fundraising and other areas too.
If you’re interested in volunteering with The Haven Café, simply pop in for a chat or get in touch at cafe@enfoundation.co.uk.
If you’re interested in supporting the Haven Centre in other ways, our Volunteering page shares how you can get involved.
